Though only thrust onto the popular sneaker radar this year, the Air Mariah’s performance pedigree runs deep and far back. Before it was a lifestyle-tooled city slicker, the sneaker was an 80s racing flat — the second sneaker ever to house Air technology, and an early muse for what became the VaporMax’s full-length Air unit.
This modern update places the Mariah in front a new generation, sporting a silhouette lent to theFlyknit Racer then claimed back. ‘Light Carbon’ is more like light lavender,a soothing shade complemented by a lick of aqua on the midsole.
